As we sit here sipping wine by the fire on the patio of our beach house, we feel like we've crawled out of our winter den. Maya has walked on grass and sand for the first time today, and we all got a good dose of vitamin D. We managed to squeeze in an outdoor breakfast, a nap, multiple beach walks, a visit to the sea lions, and a 14 km run in, all on day one. Utter perfection.We are lucky, so very very lucky.
